HANGZHOU FOR A WEEK

I visited Hangzhou, a city of China, during an Easter holiday as a part of a cultural exchange program. Though it was only for a week, I met some fun people and even MC-ed a gala between my school and an Hangzhou highschool. It is amazing to see how a city can boast breathtaking natural scenery, advanced technology, and rich culture at the same time.

Hangzhou for a week: Services

While I was born a Mainlander, I left for Hong Kong at a young age and did not have the chance to explore China's wonderful land and culture. When my school's cultural exchange program was open for registration, I signed up at once.
Throughout the program, I was given a chance to bond with students from Hangzhou's most competitive high schools. It was mind-provoking that although the education system and academic culture were different between Hong Kong and China, we share a lot of common hobbies, beliefs, and interests. Meanwhile, I also visited numerous culturally rich historical sites. Although I am already enthusiastic about Chinese literature, seeing Lu Xun's former residence prompted me to reread some of his most influential works and discover new insights.
